With the missus and daughter off to the Ideal Homes Exhibition and having been off sick I really didn't feel like staying home. The class 395s have always been a bit of a guilty secret of mine as mostly I do like the old traction and the 395s are 'modern' but many moons ago there was a set of preview services and as our team at BR Business Systems had set up the complicated ticketing we were invited to have a go on them. Oh those were the days. So yes, they've always had a place in my heart (queue the romantic violin music) LOL.
Ages ago I set myself Mileage targets for each class to see it I could, in the general course of pottering around, achieve it. I had set them as thus:
455s = No minimum Mileage.
377s = No minimum Mileage.
700s = Minimum 20 miles (for now)
395s = Minimum 20 miles.
Armed with a print out off real time trains, my phone, notebook, pen and sandwich off I went.

Ebbsfleet is a bit of a concrete open air version of St Pancras International and the only things your get through it are class 395s and 374s. No access to the international platforms, of course, and not many of the 374s stop there so you'll have to be very quick. Platforms 2 and 3 are the domestic to/from Ashford lines and you will see international trains through platforms 1 and 4. Platforms 5 and 6 are up and out of the station needing you to leave walk and go into the other portion of the station. From 2 and 3 you can't see 5 and 6 and vice versa!
