Last minute day off due to a family thing allowed me to have some time to myself.
Following a trip to the cemetery & collecting my sons car I was free to go and travel.

Around to Selhurst and catch the first of the day.
2J17 London Bridge to East Croydon (Selhurst to East Croydon) 377607 [0m 77ch] non winner.
At Croydon I decided to jump the first train heading towards Gatwick and en route decide on a plan of action.
9T17 Bedford to Brighton (East Croydon to Brighton) 700108 [40m 21ch] non winner but cleaed for 20 miles.
The plan almost wrote itself. At Brighton I grabbed some food and a drink and walked over to platform 8 for 2C24 Brighton to Seaford (Brighton to Lewes) 313206 [7m 77ch] non winner
It was quite chilly so I was glad to board 2C27 Seaford to Brighton (Lewes to Brighton) 313208 [7m 77ch] non winner but cleared for 5 miles.
I had no chance of catching the 12:00 to Portsmouth Harbour so I just waited for the next one.
1N16 1230 Brighton to Southampton Central (Brighton to Chichester) 377437 [28m 51ch] non winner.
Crossing from platform 2 to platform I thought I had only 8 minutes to wait sadly my train was 6 minutes late.
2S15 1257 Portsmouth & Southsea to Littlehampton (Chichester to Barnham) 313219 [6m 22ch] non winner but cleared for 5 miles.
Next up 1S23 1329 Portsmouth Harbour to Brighton (Barnham to Brighton) 313215 [22m 29ch] winner and cleared for 5 miles. This picked up a little delay and I ended up in Brighton 3 minutes late.
I had a choice of two trains back to Croydon and 9S40 1514 Brighton to Cambridge (Brighton to East Croydon) 700124 [40m 21ch] non winner but cleared for 20 miles. Of course this also picked up a delay just outside East Croydon as I think platform 1 had a block on it.
To get me back I went for 2M49 1610 East Croydon to Watford Junction (East Croydon to Selhurst) 377212 [0m 77ch] non winner. And of course this was also running late by 8 minutes
A total of 26 minutes didn't deter from the day. It now leaves me with just 313210 being the only 313 I need for haulage.
