Scotland 2023 Day 3: 23rd March 2023

Bold = Haulage, Red = Winner, All others are sightings.

Today was supposed to be a trainless day but is kind of didn't end up that way.
We had booked a tour at the Glengoyne distillery. It was amazing.
To get there you need to get a bus (its a X10) from Buchanan Street bus station (stand 34 usually but check). It takes about 55 minutes to get there on a normal day. Do mention to the driver to give you a call when you get there.
The tour is really good and the guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Behind the istrillery is a waterfall which begs to be photographed.
Then in to the shop!
We had the two dram tour and the gentleman in the shop helped us decide on purchases by offering us a couple more tasters. I can recommend the 15 year old, the 18 year old and of course the 21 year old whiskeys.
We headed out to get the bus back in to Glasgow and we were feeling no pain.
By the time we got to Milngavie we needed a vit of fresh air so jumped off and caufght a train in to town. 2B52 Milngavie to Airdrie (Milngavie to Glasgow Queen street Low Level) 320309 (Winner and cleared for 5 miles) [8m 60 ch].
Once back in Glasgow we did a bit of the tourist thing then went for a meal at Amarone resturant which is amazing. Well worth a visit if you're in Glasgow.

On to Day 4.
