The 720s are class I don't really have a lot of knowledge about and in fact hardly any haulage on. Today I was lucky enough to make a bit of an effort to change that.
Bold = Haulage, Red = Winner, All others are sightings.
Managed an early finish on the day.
First off was to get away from the locale.
2J23 Selhurst to East Croydon 377310, 377309 [0m 77ch] ❌
A quick switch of platforms and catch
9T20 East Croydon to Farringdon 700011 [12m 11ch] ❌ non winner but cleared for 20 miles.
A transfer via escalators and tunnels to the Elizabeth line platforms and on to
9U49 Farringdon to Liverpool Street 345043 [0m 57] ✅
A quick trip upstrairs to the main station and the first 720 of the day.
1Y16 Liverpool Street to Shenfield 720115 [20m 16ch] ✅
Returning back got me two units.
1F14 Shenfield to Liverpool Street 720521, 720586 [20m 16ch] ✅
After crossing a packed Liverpool Street concourse I headed to the depths of the station to Elizabeth Line platforms.
9Y97 Liverpool Street to Farringdon 345058 [0m 57ch] ❌
Then up and over to the Thameslink platforms and
9J31 Farringdon to East Croydon 700110 [12m 16ch] ❌
Then on to the last leg of the trip.
