From Kings to Kings: 3rd JSeptember 2023

This is one bit of line I have been after for years. Last time I was in the that area I only got to Downham Market.
Bold = Haulage, Red = Winner, All others are sightings.

Today's choices were stay at home, go with the wife to Brighton or out on my own on trains. Home while it's lovely outside is not a great idea. Brighton I hate. So I looked up times to a couple places but the one that really caught my eye was the Kings Lynn Branch line.
A check againstthe system also revealed that a few new units was also on the cards.

First train of the day was 2J13 Selhurst to East Croydon 377316, 377318 non winners [0m 77ch].
I had some time so a trip to Cafe Nero and a snack of a Sausage and Pancetta Roll to get me started. I had allowed enough time and headed down to platform 4 to catch 9R22 East Croydon to St Pancras International 700010 ✅ winner and cleared for 10 miles [13m 40ch].

A walk over the road to catch 1T24 Kings Cross to Kings Lynn 387172, 387302 ✅ Both winners and cleared for 30 miles.
When the train left Downham Market it was all new track to me ✅. We arrived at Kings Lynn on time and the line now cleared.

Upon arrival I took a number of photos around the station and outside. I hope to make a small article on the station at some point in the future.
1T35 Kings Lynn to King's Cross 387302, 387172 (now non winners)

Over the road, down in to the concrete box that for 9R35 St Pancras International to East Croydon 700021 ✅ winner and cleared for 10 miles. [13m 40ch].
At East Croydon I managed to get 2B87 East Croydon to Selhurst 377607 non winner [0m 77ch].
