To be honest this a very last minute decision. On the 30th the wife and I were in Sheringham and eating lunch when she suggested the stay in Great Yarmouth and I said ok. SHe did a searrch and the
Wetherspoons hotel was the best on offer. The rate for the two of us for one night was less than £80.
On arrival we had to go to the bar and ask to check in. That is normal for pub hotels. Once checked in we had a room on the second floor and fairly close to the lift. The room was lovely and big, easily big enough for the both of us with a large bed and a desk and chair. The bathroom had the usual toilet and a a shower but no bath (the wife loves her baths).
The main thing was that the room and bathroom were all beautifully clean as all Wetherspoons Hotels that we have stayed at have been.
Tea and coffee and buscuits were provided.
No noise from the bar all night which is a big plus for us.
Would we stay again - YES
